The Hour

And while we're not on the subject, I feel I'd like to recomend a brilliant series from the BBC - The Hour;" A behind-the-scenes drama and espionage thriller in Cold War-era England that centers on a journalist, a producer, and an anchorman for an investigative news programme."

It's  a really exciting drama even if it is a bit predictable at times, but if nothing else the props-people must have had the time of their life. The scenorgaphy is so good it hurts! I also have a small crush on the actor who plays the news-anchor, Dominic West, even though his character is not the most appealing.

Another favourite actor plays one of the journalists; Anna Chancellor, and here's an interesting interview with her in The Guardian

It's not going to leave any long lasting memories, but it is so beautiful, at least to us that finds that era of time appealing. It has been suggested that it is a new mad men, the british way. I was never so much into mad men. But this; I like!
