Back in HellTown

I used to live in Malmö, I used to work in Malmö. Then I started work in Helltown, drove my old car without heating in wintertime in -10C all the way from Malmö. Bought a new warm car, spring came. Moved to Helltown, changed my job back to Malmö. Now I'm driving in the opposite direction in a warm car and the sun is shining, go figure...

Weekend at the Mansion

saw this beautiful dress at the auktion, didn't buy it, but it was sososo pretty
First week gone here, still confused, sleeping bad, hoping things will turn out alright but even so, having a pleasant time. Met my pretty friends, went for coffee with Lotta, this town is so quiet. Snowing today - cold as hell. Not missing anything past. Stephen Fry, Harry Potter and Kalle still with me. Wanting to go to England, how is Sheffield, Chris?

Well, my weekend in pictures

friday eve is for sushi

saturday is for going to second hand shops with mother buying bits and pieces, especially like my handbag and the thaisilk fabric that was silly cheap - will make myself a dress one day of that

sunday afternoon from my window

i just love glass things in colour from the 50s-60s, doesn't really show here, but it is mesmerizingly beautiful

Dazed and Confused and Not Knowing

One doesn't know why one does some things sometimes, but I do. I do things because I'm bored, and I do them regardless of them being better or worse - sometimes you win, sometimes you don't - right now... I just don't know. But they have thrift shops in this new town too, and then there is music and books.

view from my window on a rainy january eve, seeing the library and the boats crossing over to denmark
my new bedlamp that's suppose to imitate the sunrise and set, waking me up slowly getting brighter or the other way around, playing music from my usb or, if i want, cows mooing in the meadow. EXCELLENT (said with a lisp, for reasons unknown..)

Bought a nice purse and a necklace from Svensk Tenn at the thrift shop

Found, to my joy, another book by the Kon Tiki-adventurer Thor Heyerdahl, about others of his adventures, and also a book of insects, maybe get some inspiration for next tattoo..

And then a orange rug (!?) pillow and another whisky glass to my collection. EXCELLENT

Vinyl - for more music pleasure

Nothing beats vinyl, now I am doing my best to rebuild my collection and there is no better place than Skivesset on Nobelvägen in Malmö (well I suppose there is, but..) A good sunday today because I had to choooose which ones to buy, and the winners are:

David Bowie, never goes out of style

Have been looking for the early Sabbath records, had to settle for greatest hits, so damned hard to find! And Janis, dear Janis.

Fiendens Musik, some classic "protestmusic" and The Clash, no comment needed!

Don't really know what this is, but how could I not get the Hip Hipsters with the Hipster Singers?

Framing this one, it's just tooo pretty!
