Why is there a poem on this house
Why has it been removed
Who wrote it

She bought a beatiful dress to wear
that night  ate slowly pulled him toward the dancefloor
later his shadow lying across her
tounge tracing the fullness of her
bottom lip one hand caught under her chin
urgin her forcibly to look up

Last weekend in September - Surprisingly Summery

What a strangely comfortable weekend it has been. Was so happy to realise that new seasons for both CSI and CSI NY had started, what a treat, both started off good, CSI with a new supervisor (played by Ted Danson from Cheers) and I am hopeful after the first episod. I never could grow fond of Ray Langstone (Laurence Fishburne), he was always a bit to dark. Well, they managed to fit in an octopussy in the murderstory out there in the Nevada desert, and that grabs my attention.

CSI NY had to go 9/11 since it was 10 years ago life changed dramatically. Mac Taylor is on leave from his supervisor job and works with a company that tries to identify the victims from 9/11 with DNA. We look back to that day in 2001 and follow the team's wereabouts then, mainly focusing on Mac's wife and what happened to her.

Managed to finally watch "Black Swan" as well, think I built up to high expectations - good enough - but didn't leave me with more than a pleasure that I've seen it, which is alright I suppose.

It was sunny and warm all weekend so there was a lot of sitting on the balcony with cups of tea listening to Stephen Fry reading Harry Potter. So Idle and Lovely.

Our Roses in the garden are having a final bloom!

found some lovely embroidery to hang on my wall att Erikshjälpen in Åkarp

and some old Höganäs that I collect

and as usual, some books. Specially happy about the three booklets in the bottom - from 30's-40's with lyrics of songs from that time and beautifully illustrated.

and some duvet covers, hardly used and silly cheap. The Barbapappa-pillowcase a present for a young mister.

Where's my DoDo? ...and the Zebra puzzle..

DoDo
And now for some puzzle..
  1. There are five houses.
  2. The Englishman lives in the red house.
  3. The Spaniard owns the dog.
  4. Coffee is drunk in the green house.
  5. The Ukrainian drinks tea.
  6. The green house is immediately to the right of the ivory house.
  7. The Old Gold smoker owns snails.
  8. Kools are smoked in the yellow house.
  9. Milk is drunk in the middle house.
  10. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
  11. The man who smokes Chesterfields lives in the house next to the man with the fox.
  12. Kools are smoked in the house next to the house where the horse is kept.
  13. The Lucky Strike smoker drinks orange juice.
  14. The Japanese smokes Parliaments.
  15. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
Now, who drinks water? Who owns the zebra? In the interest of clarity, it must be added that each of the five houses is painted a different color, and their inhabitants are of different national extractions, own different pets, drink different beverages and smoke different brands of American cigarets [sic]. One other thing: in statement 6, right means your right.
Life International, December 17, 1962

And in Swedish:

  1. Det finns fem hus.
  2. Engelsmannen bor i det röda huset.
  3. Spanjoren äger hunden.
  4. I det gröna huset dricks kaffe.
  5. Ukrainaren dricker te.
  6. Det gröna huset ligger omedelbart till höger om det elfenbensvita huset.
  7. Den som röker Old Gold äger sniglar.
  8. I det gula huset röker man Kool.
  9. I det mellersta huset dricker man mjölk.
  10. Norrmannen bor i det första huset.
  11. Mannen som röker Chesterfield bor intill mannen som har räven.
  12. Kool röks bredvid huset där man håller häst.
  13. Lucky Strike-rökaren dricker apelsinjuice.
  14. Japanen röker Parliament.

Hello September, you're a bit early, but come in..

Sometimes life comes early and you find yourself running in front of everything all the time, longing to fit in - knowing you don't really want to.

Would you have it any other way?
